Weapon Lord on SNES is the fighting game that didn’t care about being polite. The first time I played, I got wrecked in seconds because button-mashing doesn’t cut it here. You actually have to learn the timing, the combos (which were stupidly advanced for '95), and when to go for those brutal "Nastiest Moves" finishers.
The pixel art is all shadowy castles and grimacing warriors, and the soundtrack sounds like a blacksmith’s hammer hitting an anvil at 2 AM.
