Remember that old-school detective game where you chase Carmen Sandiego across the U.S.? This is the Amiga version, and it’s just as tricky as I remembered. You start off getting a case file—some famous landmark or artifact got stolen—and then you’re scrambling to follow clues, interrogate witnesses, and hop between states before time runs out.
The graphics are charmingly pixelated, and the geography questions still trip me up sometimes. (Turns out I don’t know state capitals as well as I thought.) It’s one of those games where you’ll scribble notes on actual paper because the clues are just vague enough to keep you guessing. If you played this as a kid, it’s a nostalgia trip—if not, it’s a fun way to learn some weird U.S. trivia while playing detective.
