Whizz came out in 1994 for the Super Nintendo, developed and published by Titus Software. You control a little wizard who moves through single-screen stages, each filled with symbols, enemies, and obstacles. The main goal is to touch every symbol on the screen before a strict timer expires. Your movement is the real hook: pressing left or right makes you move diagonally, not horizontally, which completely reorients how you navigate. You jump between platforms, avoid bouncing foes, and sometimes push blocks to clear paths or trap enemies. The pace is frantic, and the learning curve is steep because of the unusual controls. It feels like solving a spatial puzzle under pressure, where every mistake costs precious seconds.
