Game Overview
So, Who Framed Roger Rabbit on NES—yeah, it's as weird and chaotic as the movie. Roger's been accused of murdering Marvin Acme over some sketchy patty-cake photos with Jessica Rabbit (classic). Of course, he didn't do it, but now there's a whole mess about Acme's will and who really controls Toontown. You play as Eddie Valiant, the grumpy detective stuck cleaning up this cartoon disaster.
Roger follows you around like a hyperactive shadow while you search for clues, items, and—weirdly—punchlines to jokes. Because apparently, knock-knock jokes are your only weapon when the Weasels show up. And they will show up. The second those jerks get close, an alarm blares, Roger panics, and suddenly you're either punching Weasels or desperately reciting bad jokes to save him.
Most of the game is side-scrolling through city blocks, caves, and weird little rooms, with a top-down map to navigate between areas. Sometimes you hitch a ride with Benny the Cab, which is fun until you remember you're basically a babysitter for a cartoon rabbit.
