Game Overview
Wipeout 2 on the DS is basically like being on one of those ridiculous obstacle game shows, but without the embarrassment of face-planting on TV. You pick a goofy character—I always went for the guy in the banana suit—and then it's just pure chaos: dodging giant spinning arms, sliding under knee sweepers, and trying not to eat it on the ice in the winter courses.
What’s great is how unpredictable it feels. One second you’re cruising, the next you’re launched into the air by a springboard you totally didn’t see coming. And yeah, the multiplayer is where it really shines—nothing like watching your friend wipe out spectacularly while you barely scrape by. The courses get wilder as you go, and some of the obstacles are just mean (looking at you, Spinning Slapshot).
It’s silly, over-the-top, and way more fun than it has any right to be. Perfect for quick rounds when you need a laugh.
