Wizards & Warriors came out on the NES in 1987, developed by Rare and published by Acclaim. You also collect keys to open doors and search for treasure, including three magical crowns needed to complete the game. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty is consistent, with enemies and platforming that demand attention. It feels like a solid, challenging quest where every new screen brings a small risk and a potential reward.
