Play World League Basketball (Europe) Online
Dunk with Italy or Spain on grainy '90s courts—simple controls, snappy gameplay, and just enough arcade chaos to make Germany’s three-pointers feel suspiciously good.

World League Basketball on the SNES is one of those games I stumbled onto years ago and still fire up when I want some no-fuss arcade hoops. The controls are simple—no complicated button combos, just pass, shoot, and dunk with that satisfying SNES thwip sound effect. Teams are all European, which felt weird at first (where’s my Chicago Bulls?), but dunking as Italy or Spain grew on me fast.
It’s not NBA Jam-level chaos, but the gameplay’s snappy, and the pixelated courts have that grainy ‘90s charm. Friend and I used to argue over whether Germany’s three-pointers were OP—still not sure. Perfect for when you want basketball without the realism. Just don’t expect franchise modes or player stats.
