Game Overview
If you loved the Wreck-It Ralph movie, this DS game is a fun little follow-up. You play as both Ralph and Felix right after the film’s events—turns out those Cy-Bugs didn’t get the memo about staying gone. The levels take you through all the arcade worlds from the movie, like Sugar Rush’s candy-coated tracks and Hero’s Duty’s glitchy battle zones.
Ralph smashes everything in sight (obviously), while Felix gets to be the nimble one with double jumps and wall climbs. I kept accidentally throwing his hammer at nothing, but you get the hang of it. There are coins to grab, hidden Easter eggs, and even some film concept art to unlock if you poke around enough. The cutscenes have actual voice lines too, which is nice—though Ralph’s grunts get old after the 50th crate demolition.
It’s not the deepest platformer, but smashing stuff as Ralph never stops being satisfying.
