Game Overview
Wrecking Crew (VS) is one of those NES games that looks simple but gets surprisingly tricky. You play as Mario or Luigi—not jumping this time, just smashing walls with a hammer while dodging enemies and the foreman who chases you.
The first few levels ease you in, but then you hit stages where you have to think ahead. If you break walls in the wrong order, you can trap yourself with no way out. The enemies move in patterns, but the foreman? He just wants you gone.
What stands out is the puzzle aspect—it’s not just mindless destruction. And the level editor is a nice touch, letting you build your own deathtraps. Wrecking Crew (VS) holds up better than you’d expect for an old demolition game.
