It’s longer this time, and if you played the original, your old rivalries carry over, which is a nice touch.
The fighting feels weightier now, with stamina playing a bigger role. If you burn out, good luck trying to lift a finger, let alone slam someone. And those submission moves? Brutal. Four different ways to make your opponent tap out while the crowd loses it. The damage system’s wild too—you’ll see cuts, blood dripping on the mat, even full-on crimson masks if things get ugly. The new Last Man Standing match is exactly what it sounds like: no pins, just beating someone until they can’t stand before the ref counts to 10.
Honestly, the Create-A-Wrestler mode alone could’ve sold me—spending way too much time tweaking entrance music and outfits before jumping into story mode never gets old. It’s the kind of sequel that actually listens to what fans wanted.
