It was a solid entry for its time, fitting right in with the other DS titles that tried to bring console experiences to the handheld, though it definitely had its own quirks.

You control a wrestler from the WWE or ECW roster, aiming to win matches by pinfall, submission, or sometimes just surviving a gauntlet of opponents. The touch screen is used for mini-games to execute submissions and to reverse moves, which requires quick taps and swipes. Matches can get frantic, especially in multi-man bouts where the camera struggles to keep up, and the difficulty spikes noticeably in the later career mode matches. It feels like a genuine, if slightly clunky, attempt to capture the chaos of wrestling on a small screen.
