Play WWF WrestleMania 2000 (E) Online

Pick your favorite late-90s wrestler, throw some chairs, and see who can land the most ridiculous finishers—especially when four friends start button-mashing. The create-a-wrestler mode still rules for making neon-clad abominations.

Game Overview

WWF WrestleMania 2000 on N64 is basically the reason my childhood friends and I had so many near-fights over who got to play as Stone Cold Steve Austin. The roster’s stacked with late-90s wrestling legends—The Rock, Mankind, Triple H—and the character models actually look like them, which was kind of a big deal back then.

What I loved most was the create-a-wrestler mode. Spent hours making ridiculous custom fighters with neon green tights and absurd finishers. The grappling feels a little clunky now, but back in the day, landing a Stone Cold Stunner or a People’s Elbow felt like pure victory. Matches get chaotic fast, especially in four-player mode where someone always ends up throwing a chair into the mix.

It’s not the deepest wrestling sim, but if you want that classic Attitude Era vibe with some solid couch multiplayer chaos, this one still holds up.
