XXx (F) on GBA is a side-scrolling shooter that tries to capture the over-the-top action of the movie. You start off as Xander Cage, shooting through waves of enemies with AK-47s and shotguns while dodging mines and tripwires. The platforming feels a bit stiff, but the gunplay is decent for a handheld game.
There are these weird driving sections where you kick enemy bikers off their rides, Road Rash-style. They break up the shooting but don't control all that smoothly. The levels are short bursts of chaos, which fits the movie's vibe, though some traps feel cheap when you don't see them coming.
It's not a deep game, but if you just want to blast through enemies like a 2000s action hero, XXx (F) delivers that in short bursts.
