At first glance, it feels like someone mashed up Gauntlet with a low-budget sci-fi flick—you and a friend (because this is way better in co-op) blasting through maze-like bases, watching the screen twist with each turn in this janky-but-cool pseudo-3D effect.
The controls take some getting used to—your guy moves in this grid-based way that feels stiff until you realize it’s part of the charm. And those robot enemies?
