Yuujin no Furi Furi Girls is one of those SNES games that makes you wonder how you missed it back in the day. You pick between two girls—each with their own ridiculous yo-yo attacks—and just start flinging enemies into the stratosphere. The physics are stupidly satisfying; hit a guy just right and he’ll pinball off three others before vanishing in a puff of cartoon smoke.
It’s got that perfect arcade energy where everything’s bright, loud, and slightly unhinged. The co-op mode is where it really shines, though—nothing beats accidentally yo-yo’ing your friend while trying to take down a screen-filling boss. The whole thing feels like someone took River City Ransom, cranked up the chaos, and added way more pastel colors.
