Play 13 Out Online
Pair numbers to hit 13 before the grid fills up—sounds chill until you’re desperately scanning for that last 6 while tiles crawl toward the top. Pure MS-DOS panic in its finest form.

13 Out was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation that bundled various titles from the platform's early years. The game was developed and published by Softdisk, a company known for its shareware releases during that era. It fits right in with the straightforward, concept-driven puzzle games that were common on DOS, relying on a simple idea executed with clear, functional graphics.
You control nothing but a cursor, using it to select pairs of numbers that add up to 13 before new tiles push upward from the bottom of the screen. The main objective is to prevent the grid from filling up, which requires constant scanning and quick decisions. Key mechanics include matching numbers like 6 and 7 or 5 and 8, while also managing the rising stack of new digits that appear with each move. The pacing is deliberately tense; the game starts slow but accelerates sharply, demanding faster reactions as the pressure mounts. It feels like a race against a quiet but inevitable clock, where one miscalculation can end everything.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
