So this is one of those GBA cartridges that crams two Power Rangers games together—Ninja Storm and Time Force. Both are pretty standard beat 'em ups where you run through levels smacking monsters as different Rangers, switching between them for their special moves. Ninja Storm leans into the whole ninja theme with some wall jumps and quicker combat, while Time Force has a bit more of a sci-fi vibe with blaster attacks.
Honestly, neither game is groundbreaking, but if you were a kid obsessed with Power Rangers back in the day (or just love simple side-scrollers), it’s a decent way to kill an afternoon. The controls are straightforward, though some of the enemy patterns feel a little cheap after a while. I remember getting stuck on a few bosses in Time Force because the hit detection could be weird.
It’s exactly what you’d expect from a mid-2000s licensed game—not amazing, but not completely broken either. If you find it cheap, it’s a fun nostalgia trip.
