Game Overview

Alright, so remember that old-school Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game on NES? The one where Shredder’s goons (looking at you, Bebop and Rocksteady) kidnap April again? Yeah, classic setup. You get to swap between all four turtles—Leo with his swords, Raph with the sais, you know the drill—but here’s the twist: if a turtle gets KO’d, they’re captured. No respawns until you track them down in some random building or sewer. Feels brutal at first, but it makes every fight matter.

The game flips between two views: a top-down map where you’re sneaking around NYC, and side-scrolling brawls when you dive into enemy hideouts. Don’t sleep on the shurikens and other sub-weapons—they’re limited but clutch against Foot Clan swarms. And good luck surviving the Technodrome at the end. That place? Pure chaos.
