Play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Tournament Fighters (Beta) Online
Pulling off Donatello's staff combos in a neon-lit pizza parlor while Armaggon chucks anchors at you—this TMNT fighter shouldn't work but somehow does. That SNES beta version's the one to play.

Game Overview
Man, TMNT: Tournament Fighters on SNES was such a weird little gem. It’s basically Konami’s take on Street Fighter but with mutant turtles—and honestly, it’s way more fun than it had any right to be. The SNES version was the best one, with smoother animations and way more characters than the NES port. You’ve got the usual suspects like Leo and Raph, but also weird deep cuts like Wingnut and freaking Armaggon, this shark guy who throws literal anchors.
Matches feel clunky by today’s standards, but back then, pulling off a super move with Donatello’s staff felt like magic. The backgrounds are pure 90s cheese too—one stage’s just a pizza parlor with neon signs flickering. No idea why they made three totally different versions of this game, but if you’re gonna try one, the SNES beta’s the way to go. Just don’t expect it to play like modern fighters.
