Play Ace Ventura Online
You click through bizarre animal cases as Ace, tossing rubber chickens at problems and occasionally wrestling sea creatures—it’s as ridiculous as it sounds. The pixelated cutscenes and terrible one-liners somehow make it better.

I remember playing Ace Ventura back in 1996, when it came out as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup. It was developed by Bomico Entertainment Software GmbH, and it fit right in with the era's point-and-click adventures, though it definitely stood out for its weirdness. The game was based on the movies, but it had that particular mid-90s PC game charm, with chunky graphics and a lot of personality.
You play as Ace Ventura, the pet detective, and your goal is to solve cases by exploring different screens, talking to characters, and collecting items. The gameplay involves a lot of clicking around environments, picking up objects like rubber chickens or disguises, and using them in creative, often absurd ways. Some puzzles require you to interact with animals or perform over-the-top actions, like wrestling an alligator or imitating a monkey. The pacing can be slow at times, and the logic behind certain puzzles isn't always obvious, which adds to the challenge. Playing it feels like stumbling through a series of ridiculous scenarios, and it's hard not to laugh at how seriously it takes its own silliness.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
