I picked up Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle on the Super Nintendo back in 1992, a game developed by Radical Entertainment. It was one of those licensed platformers that felt pretty common at the time, trying to capture the spirit of the cartoon on the SNES. The game doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it does a decent job of bringing the characters into a playable space.
You control either Rocky or Bullwinkle, switching between them to get through levels filled with enemies and obstacles. The main goal is to stop Boris and Natasha's plans by collecting pieces of a device they're building. You jump across platforms, avoid hazards, and sometimes get pulled into mini-games, like guiding a time machine or flying through the air. The pacing is a bit uneven, and some sections can be frustratingly difficult. Playing it feels like stepping into a Saturday morning cartoon, complete with all its silly charm and occasional rough edges.
