Play Aladdin II Online

Aladdin II feels like a bootleg sequel that got lucky—same sword-swinging rooftop jumps, but with weirder traps and a fresh set of guards to slice through. The controls still snap just right when you’re mid-air dodging spears.

Game Overview

Aladdin II on the Sega Genesis is one of those weird, unofficial sequels that somehow nails the vibe of the original. You’ve still got Aladdin swinging his sword, hopping across rooftops, and dodging traps—but everything feels just a little different, like a remix of the first game. The animation’s smooth, the colors are bright, and the controls are snappy, so it doesn’t take long to get into the rhythm of slashing through guards and leaping over bottomless pits.

It’s not an official Disney sequel, but it’s got heart. The levels throw some clever twists at you—like sneaking through caves or fighting on moving platforms—and the music does a surprisingly good job of keeping that Arabian Nights feel. If you’ve played the first one to death and want more of that 16-bit magic, this is a solid way to get it. Just don’t expect Genie to show up.
