Disney Interactive released Aladdin for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, a time when handhelds were packed with licensed platformers. It was one of many Disney titles on the system, but it stood out for its fluid animation and surprisingly solid controls.

You control Aladdin, navigating side-scrolling stages that recreate scenes from the film. Your main goal is to rescue Jasmine and stop Jafar, which involves platforming across Agrabah's rooftops, avoiding traps in the Cave of Wonders, and fighting guards with your sword. You also collect gems to earn extra lives and throw apples to stun enemies from a distance. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty feels fair, with checkpoints that prevent too much frustration. It feels responsive and light, like a well-tuned cartoon brought to life.
