Play Aladdin (Beta) on sega Online

Swing your scimitar through Agrabah’s bustling streets, dodging guards and leaping across rooftops—those magic carpet chases still get your heart racing. The animation’s smooth, the levels packed with little movie details, though those apple-tossing bats? Yeah, they’re still annoying.

Game Overview

Disney’s Aladdin on the Sega Genesis is one of those licensed games that actually holds up. You jump, slash with a scimitar, and dodge guards through Agrabah’s rooftops—and yeah, the animation still looks great. The levels are packed with little details from the movie, like Abu stealing gems or those annoying carpet merchants who won’t stop haggling.

It’s not just a reskin, either. The platforming feels tight, and some sections—like the magic carpet escape—are legitimately intense. The only downside? That cave level where you toss apples at bats. Still gets me every time.

If you grew up with this one, it’s pure nostalgia. If not, it’s a solid 16-bit platformer with way more charm than most movie tie-ins.
