Play Animaniacs on Snes Online

You switch between Yakko, Wakko, and Dot—stacking them like a wobbly Jenga tower to reach stuff, hurling random junk at enemies, and scrambling away when Ralph chases you. Feels just as chaotic as the cartoons.

Game Overview

Animaniacs on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System came out in 1994, developed by Konami. It was one of many licensed platformers of that era, trying to capture the show's energy in a side scrolling format.

You control Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, switching between them on the fly to use their unique abilities. The main goal is to rescue the Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister) from the studio lot after they escape the water tower. You stack the characters to form a wobbly tower to reach high platforms, and you throw an assortment of random items, like mallets and anvils, at enemies. The levels are filled with chase sequences where you have to outrun the studio guard, Ralph. The pacing is fast and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, especially during the boss fights. It feels like a frantic, interactive episode of the show.
