Ant Run came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Michael Simpson. It was a simple maze game from that era, the kind you'd load up after school when you just wanted something quick and challenging to play. It didn't try to be anything more than a clever little puzzle, and it fit right in with the other straightforward, addictive titles of the time.

You control a single ant, navigating through a series of maze-like screens. Your goal is to collect every breadcrumb scattered around the level before a timer runs out, all while avoiding the spiders that patrol the corridors. The mazes are viewed from a top-down perspective, and you move one square at a time, which makes every decision feel deliberate. The spiders follow set patterns, so you learn to watch their routes and time your movements carefully. It's a game of patience and observation more than speed, and the tension builds as the timer gets low and you're searching for that last crumb. Finishing a difficult screen gives you a real sense of relief and accomplishment.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
