So you're this little magician trying to prove yourself by taking down a dragon named Fumo—which sounds adorable until you realize how many others have failed before you. The whole thing plays out in this bright, almost cartoonish side-scrolling world with 17 levels that bounce between fiery hellscapes and fluffy cloud heavens. Honestly, the art style makes it feel like a lost console gem.

You’ll spend a lot of time kicking boxes at enemies (weirdly satisfying) and hunting down hidden sections in each level. There’s money scattered around too, which you can blow in shops for upgrades—or hoard like I did, because I never trust in-game economies. The real fun comes with the weird power-ups: leaves that mess with gravity so you float longer, balloons for awkward mid-air corrections, and fruit that does… something? I mostly just grabbed everything and hoped for the best.

It’s one of those games where half the challenge is figuring out what half the items even do, but that’s part of the charm. Just don’t get too attached to your extra lives.
