Play Arachnid (Solitare) Online
Stack cards on a digital spiderweb—those chunky MS-DOS animations make every move feel weirdly satisfying as completed piles vanish like wrapped-up prey.

Ever played solitaire but wished it had a little more... eight-legged energy? Arachnid is that weirdly perfect MS-DOS mashup where you're stacking cards like usual, except now there's this whole spiderweb aesthetic going on. The cards move in that satisfyingly chunky way only '90s DOS games can pull off—no fancy animations, just you versus a digital deck that somehow feels more tactile than it should.
At first it seems like regular solitaire with a creepy skin, but then you notice the small things—the way completed stacks vanish like prey wrapped in silk, or how the web pattern subtly shifts between games. I definitely lost a solid hour to this when I first booted it up, muttering "okay, last round" at least three times. If you've got DOSBox installed and miss when games didn't need tutorials or microtransactions, this one's a surprisingly great time-waster.
Just don't blame me when you start seeing phantom card outlines on your monitor afterward.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
