Game Overview

Arashi No Yoruni throws you into this moody, rain-soaked world where you play as a wandering swordsman—or at least that’s what I thought at first. Turns out there’s way more to it: you’re piecing together memories while dodging shadowy creatures in these eerie, half-ruined villages. The combat’s simple but satisfying—just enough timing and positioning to keep you on your toes without being punishing.

What got me hooked was the atmosphere. The DS’s tiny screen somehow makes everything feel more claustrophobic, like you’re really stumbling through foggy forests and abandoned shrines. And yeah, your choices do matter—pick the wrong dialogue option, and suddenly that merchant won’t sell to you anymore. Learned that the hard way.

It’s not perfect—some of the puzzles are a bit cryptic—but if you like slow-burn adventures with a side of swordplay, this one’s weirdly absorbing.
