Art of Fighting 2 is one of those Neo Geo brawlers that feels like it belongs in an arcade—thick pixels, exaggerated animations, and fighters who hit like trucks. You pick from a roster of martial artists (Ryo’s still the go-to if you like straightforward punches, but King’s kicks are stupidly satisfying). The first thing you’ll notice? That health bar doesn’t mess around—land a few special moves, and suddenly your guy’s face is all bruised up. It’s brutal in the best way.
Oh, and good luck with the AI. Even on the early fights, the CPU loves to counter you the second you whiff a move. The tag battles are chaotic fun, though—nothing like watching two fighters trade desperation supers while the crowd goes nuts in the background. Just don’t expect to button-mash your way through. This one makes you work for it.
