Artura came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Psygnosis. It's a side-scrolling action game from that era, where you explore a fantasy world filled with caves and monsters. The graphics are typical for the time, with a dark palette and detailed sprites that give it a distinct look.

You control a young hero, the son of Arthur, armed with an axe to fight off spiders and bats in maze-like caves. The main goal is to collect runes scattered across the levels, many of which are hidden on platforms you can't see until you jump near them. Enemies respawn if you leave a screen and return, making backtracking a constant threat. The pacing is slow and deliberate, with a high difficulty that demands careful movement and patience. It feels tense and methodical, where every jump could lead to a surprise attack or a fatal drop.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
