You play as Altaïr hunting Templars in Cyprus—sneak across rooftops, ambush targets, or just slash through guards if you're impatient. It links to AC2 with collectibles that unlock stuff in the sequel.
Game Overview
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines on PSP picks up right where the first game left off—you're back as Altaïr, chasing down Templars who fled to Cyprus after the mess in the Holy Land. It's got that same open-world feel as the console version, just scaled down for handheld, which was pretty impressive for the time. You'll sneak across rooftops in Limassol and Kyrenia, ambushing targets or just cutting through guards if you're feeling bold (I usually went for the sword—way more satisfying).
The big draw here is how it bridges the gap between AC1 and AC2. Find Templar coins or codex pages here, and they actually carry over to your PS3 save for bonuses in the sequel. There’s even a USB hookup that unlocks extra weapons in AC2, which was a neat little reward for playing both. The villain, Armand Bouchart, is hunting that creepy mind-control Apple again, so yeah, Altaïr’s got his work cut out for him.
It’s not as polished as the mainline games—climbing can feel a bit janky on the PSP’s controls—but if you were itching for more Altaïr after the first game, this scratches that itch. Just don’t expect Ezio-level flair.
