Game Overview

Football Frenzy is that kind of arcade football game where everything feels just a little chaotic in the best way. You pick from ten goofy teams (no real NFL here) and dive into either a single-player tournament or a head-to-head match. The camera’s this weird top-down-but-angled view that zooms in when you’re running the ball, which somehow makes it feel more intense.

Play-calling is simple—eight runs, eight passes, and two kicks—but the defense doesn’t get to pick, so it’s all about outsmarting your buddy if you’re playing two-player. Tapping the A button like mad to sprint is exactly as tiring as it sounds, and good luck not panicking when you’re scrambling to pick a receiver mid-play. It’s janky, fast, and weirdly satisfying when you pull off a last-second touchdown.

Definitely one of those "just one more game" Neo-Geo sports titles. The controls take a minute to click, but once they do, it’s pure arcade football nonsense.
