Game Overview

Ball Raider is one of those classic Amiga Breakout clones that somehow makes bouncing a pixelated ball against bricks feel like an epic quest. You're trying to join the Warrior Guild in the year 2488—apparently, smashing blocks is still the ultimate test of skill in the future.

The first few levels ease you in with basic brick patterns, but by level 5, things get sneaky. Some bricks take multiple hits, others teleport the ball in weird directions, and the bat at the bottom feels just slippery enough to keep you on your toes. I lost more lives than I'd like to admit to those corner shots that ricochet at impossible angles.

It's simple, sure, but there's something satisfying about clearing a screen and seeing that "Level Complete" flash. Just don't expect the later levels to go easy on you—some of those brick formations look like they were designed by someone with a grudge.
