Play Dragon Ball Z – L’Appel du Destin Online

Dragon Ball Z on Genesis keeps that weird split-screen thing where you can snipe each other with energy blasts—just don’t burn through your KI meter too fast. The roster’s stacked with Freeza and Cell saga fighters, though pulling off blocks feels like finger gymnastics.

Game Overview

Dragon Ball Z: L'Appel Du Destin on the Sega Genesis keeps that weird split-screen thing from the Super Butōden games—you know, where the screen divides when you're far apart so you can still see each other. Honestly, it's kinda necessary because the most brutal attacks are those long-range energy blasts. Just don't spam them—your KI meter drains fast, and good luck pulling off the awkward button combo to block one.

The roster's solid if you're into the Freeza and Cell arcs: SSJ Goku, SSJ2 Gohan, even Recoome and Ginyu finally made it into a fighting game. Stages are ripped straight from the anime, though some get recycled (looking at you, Namek—first normal, then on fire like Freeza just had a tantrum).

It's janky in that very '90s fighting game way, but if you grew up mashing buttons to Kamehamehas, this hits the nostalgia just right.
