Play Dragon Ball Z - L'Appel du Destin (France) Online
Pick Goku or Vegeta, charge up ki blasts, and watch the Genesis struggle to keep up with all the screen-filling Kamehamehas. Chunky sprites, flickering chaos—it’s janky but weirdly satisfying when you nail a combo.

Game Overview
Dragon Ball Z: L'Appel du Destin (or "Buy? Retsuden" if you're playing the Japanese version) is one of those early 90s fighting games that somehow makes the Genesis chug along with giant energy blasts and flying characters. It's basically a stripped-down version of the Super But?den games—fewer characters, simpler controls, but still that same over-the-top DBZ feel.
You pick from Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and a couple others, then mash buttons to charge up ki attacks or go for close-range punches. The sprites are surprisingly decent for the hardware, though the screen flickers like crazy when too much is happening. Not gonna lie, the AI cheats sometimes, but pulling off a Kamehameha that actually lands still feels great.
If you grew up with this one, the nostalgia hits hard. Otherwise, it’s mostly a curiosity for DBZ or retro fighting game fans.
