Game Overview
Balloon Fight (EU) is this weirdly tense NES game where you float around with balloons tied to your back, trying to pop other players' balloons by landing on them. The controls feel a little slippery at first—you're constantly tapping to stay airborne, and if you stop for even a second, you start sinking toward the water below.
What makes it interesting is the panic when you lose a balloon. Suddenly you're wobbling, trying to stay up with just one, while the other guy circles like a shark. And if you lose both, you're just this little guy flailing with a parachute, hoping nobody bumps into you before you can inflate a new one.
The Balloon Trip mode is a nice change of pace—more about dodging lightning and threading through tight gaps than fighting. But honestly, I keep going back to the versus mode. There's something satisfying about the way a match can flip from domination to desperation in seconds.
