Ballz 3D is one of those weird, janky fighting games from the Genesis era where every character is literally just a pile of bouncing spheres—like if someone made a brawler out of a kid’s ball pit. The 3D effect is rough by today’s standards, but back then, the way the fighters stretched and wobbled when they moved felt kinda mind-blowing.
Each fighter has this ridiculous theme, like a sumo made of beach balls or a samurai built from marbles. The physics are hilariously unpredictable—sometimes a punch sends your opponent flying across the screen, other times it just makes their head ball jiggle awkwardly.
