Bang! Bang! came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by David B. Lutton II. It was one of those straightforward action games you'd load up after school, a product of its time when simple mechanics and immediate feedback were enough to keep you glued to the keyboard. There was no grand story or elaborate setup; it just dropped you into the action with a clear, singular purpose.

You control a small character trapped in a single-screen arena, surrounded by waves of enemies that close in from all sides. Your goal is to survive as long as possible, clearing each wave by shooting every enemy on screen. The signature mechanics include dodging in tight spaces, aiming carefully to conserve ammo, and watching enemies explode into satisfying pixelated pieces. The pacing is relentless; the difficulty spikes quickly, demanding quick reflexes and sharp shooting. It feels tense and frantic, especially when the screen fills up and every shot counts.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
