Okay, so Barbie Super Model on SNES is way more involved than you'd expect. At first glance, it's just Barbie walking left to right—but then suddenly you're dodging rogue skateboards and beach balls while trying to grab bonus items (and extra lives, because those obstacles come out of nowhere).

The real fun starts when you grab the camera. That throws you into a magazine cover shoot where you've got to dress Barbie in the exact outfit shown—right down to matching the colors for her top, skirt, and accessories. Mess up the shade of pink, and you lose points. It's weirdly satisfying when you nail it, though.

After surviving the level, you practice a runway routine—memorize four button prompts, because later you'll have to perform them perfectly while Barbie struts. Then you backtrack through the same level (now right to left) to grab a handbag, which unlocks a makeup minigame. Matching hairstyles and nail polish sounds simple, but the timer adds pressure.

Four levels total: city streets, beach skating, ski resort, and a park. Each has its own theme, so the outfits and obstacles change. It's janky in that classic '90s way, but there's something charming about how much they crammed into a Barbie game. You'll either love it or wonder why you spent 20 minutes adjusting virtual eyeshadow.
