Beast Busters is one of those gloriously over-the-top arcade shooters where you just point and unleash hell. You pick between two guys with ridiculous names (Johnny Justice? Sammy Stately?) and suddenly you're hip-deep in zombies. The screen scrolls on its own, so all you gotta do is aim and try not to run out of bullets—easier said than done when they're throwing knives at you or literally jumping into your face.
What I love is how ridiculous it gets. You start picking up grenades that turn zombies into red mist, then suddenly you're fighting a mutant punk who turns into a rabid dog, or this nightmare fuel snake-blob thing that lunges at the screen. The arcade version had three guns so you could team up with friends, which was chaos in the best way—blood and explosions everywhere. It's dumb, loud, and exactly what you want from a zombie shooter where subtlety went out the window.
Pro tip: Save the napalm for when the screen gets too crowded to think straight.
