I picked up Bee Movie Game on the Nintendo DS back in 2007, published by Activision. It was one of those licensed tie-ins that felt pretty common for the platform at the time, especially with animated movies getting their own portable adventures. The game follows the plot of the film, so you're stepping right into that world, for better or worse.

You control Barry B. Benson, and the main goal is to explore various locations, complete missions, and engage in mini-games that range from flying through obstacle courses to participating in bee court trials. A couple of the key mechanics include using the touch screen to interact with objects and characters, and steering Barry through airborne challenges that require quick reflexes. The pacing is uneven; some sections drag with repetitive tasks, while others are over too quickly. It's not particularly difficult, but it can feel disjointed. Playing it is a strange mix of mild amusement and bafflement at how seriously it takes its own absurd premise.
