Beneath A Steel Sky is one of those classic point-and-click adventures that just oozes atmosphere. You wake up in a dystopian city after a helicopter crash, with no memory of how you got there—just a snarky robot pal named Joey tagging along. The pixel art still holds up, especially the grimy cyberpunk streets and weirdly expressive character portraits.

Expect the usual inventory puzzles (why do I need to combine a fish with a radio transmitter?), but the writing’s sharp and the world feels lived-in. Also, Joey’s sarcastic commentary when you click on random objects never gets old. The Amiga version’s got that crunchy old-school charm, complete with floppy disk swaps if you’re playing the original.

It’s the kind of game where you’ll spend 20 minutes trying to bribe a guard with the wrong item before realizing the solution was in your pocket the whole time.
