Play Best of the Best Online
Pick an angry potato dude, then jab and weave through quick, brutal matches where landing a combo makes the whole Game Boy shake like you just won the lottery.

Best of the Best came out on the Game Boy in 1992, published by Electro Brain. It was part of that wave of early handheld fighting games, trying to bring a little bit of arcade-style competition to the small screen. It didn't have the flash of some of the bigger titles, but it had its own straightforward appeal if you were into the genre.
You pick one of several martial artists, each with their own basic moves, and then fight through a tournament bracket. The controls are simple; you punch, kick, and block, trying to whittle down your opponent's health bar before they do the same to you. Matches are fast and often feel stiff, with the limited animation making timing your attacks a very deliberate process. It's not an easy game; the AI can be punishing, and one wrong move often leads to a quick loss. Playing it feels like a test of patience as much as skill.
