Game Overview

Bio Metal on SNES is one of those shooters that throws you straight into chaos—you’ve got six weapons to swap between, and you’ll need every one of them when the screen fills up with these weird alien machines. The biometals look like someone crossed a tank with a bug, and they don’t mess around. First mission? Survive. Second mission? Good luck.

I kept switching between the spread shot and lasers at first—turns out the homing missiles are weirdly good against the bigger enemies, but good luck figuring that out before you get wrecked a few times. The music’s got that early ‘90s synth vibe, all frantic beats while you dodge way too many bullets. It’s not the deepest shooter out there, but it’s got this weird charm when you finally get into the rhythm of it. Just don’t expect the story to make much sense.
