Play Bioforge Online
Navigate a wrecked lab, solve puzzles, battle enemies, and uncover your identity as a cyborg in Bioforge, a 1995 adventure-action game for MS-DOS.
Bioforge came out in 1995 for MS-DOS, developed by Origin Systems. It was a time when 3D games were still finding their feet, and this one tried to blend adventure and action in a way that felt ambitious, if not always smooth. You play as a character who wakes up in a wrecked lab with no memory, piecing together a story involving alien conspiracies and bio-mechanical experiments.
You control a cyborg, navigating through environments screen by screen, solving puzzles, and engaging in combat with various enemies. The main goal is to uncover your identity and escape the facility, which involves hacking terminals, collecting key items, and using melee weapons in real-time fights. The pacing is deliberate, sometimes slow, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly due to awkward controls and the fixed camera angles. Playing it feels like unraveling a dense, sometimes frustrating mystery where every small victory matters.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
