Play Blackout Online
Flipping switches to light up tiles seems simple—until you realize every move screws up the last one, leaving you staring at the screen like you forgot how electricity works. Chunky pixels, zero hand-holding, just pure "why did I think this was a good idea" energy.

Blackout was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a release that bundled several titles without a specific developer or publisher attribution. It appeared during the era when puzzle games often relied on simple mechanics and a clean, functional presentation, fitting right in with the straightforward, cerebral software of the time.
You control a cursor to flip switches on a grid, aiming to turn all tiles from dark to lit. Each switch toggles not only itself but also its adjacent tiles, creating a chain reaction that demands careful planning. The challenge lies in anticipating these cascading changes, as a single misstep can plunge half the board back into darkness. The puzzles escalate steadily in complexity, requiring more foresight with each new screen. It feels like untangling a stubborn knot in your mind, one deliberate move at a time.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
