Game Overview
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II on PSP is basically the definitive portable version of the arcade fighter—same slick 2D combat, but now with an addictive Abyss mode that just keeps pulling you back in. You start by picking your fighter (I always defaulted to Ragna, but the roster’s full of weirdos with wild playstyles), then dive into this endless gauntlet of battles where the further you go, the crazier the rewards get.
Between runs, you hit up the shop to stock up on buffs and gear—some items only drop in Abyss itself, so there’s this fun loop of grinding fights to unlock better tools for deeper dives. And since XP and cash carry over across all modes, even getting wrecked in Abyss still feels like progress. The core fighting’s as tight as ever, but Abyss gives it that "one more try" hook when you’re playing on the go.
If you’re into fighters with depth (and a soundtrack that slaps), this one’s a no-brainer for PSP.
