Bleach: Heat the Soul 7 came out in 2010 for the PlayStation Portable, developed by Racjin and published by SCEI. It was one of the later fighting games on the PSP, arriving when the handheld was still popular but nearing the end of its cycle. The series was known for adapting the Bleach anime into fast paced arena brawlers, and this seventh entry aimed to refine that formula.
You control a team of three characters from the Bleach universe, swapping between them to fight another trio in enclosed arenas. The main goal is to deplete the opponent's health bars using a mix of normal attacks, flash steps for quick movement, and special techniques unique to each fighter. Key mechanics include building spirit energy to unleash powerful super moves and activating Bankai or similar transformations to temporarily boost your abilities.
