Game Overview
Bolo Adventures II is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow got lost in the shuffle—which is a shame, because it’s a blast. You play as Bolo, this little pixel hero running through maze-like levels packed with enemies that move in weirdly unpredictable patterns. At first, it feels simple—just grab power-ups and avoid getting hit—but then you realize there’s actual strategy to it, like baiting enemies into traps or memorizing where the hidden warp zones are.
The sequel fixes all the janky bits from the first game. Controls actually respond when you press a key (shocking, I know), and the levels get wilder as you go—think conveyor belts, disappearing platforms, and bosses that take way too many hits to defeat. It’s got that perfect balance of frustration and satisfaction, where you’ll die a bunch but never feel cheated. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a time capsule worth cracking open.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
